Clinch Fight Club XIII Set to Deliver High-Drama Rematch for the Flyweight Title
Toppenish, Washington – Northwest Fight Promotions is excited to announce Clinch Fight Club XIII, headlined by a marquee rematch for the CFC Flyweight Championship between reigning champion Alvin Welch and challenger Hector Lopez. The event takes place Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Legends Casino, Toppenish, Washington.
Alvin Welch (5-1) will defend his Flyweight belt against Hector Lopez (4-2) in a fight fans have been waiting for: a rematch following their first meeting. Welch triumphed in the first meeting, earning a split decision over Yakima’s Lopez at Clinch FC VIII on July 20. 2024.
Welch followed up that win by defeating Jose Hernandez for the vacant Clinch FC Flyweight crown on Nov. 2, 2024. The Spokane-based fighter last fought on May 10 at Clinch FX XI where his title defense against Shamar Williams ended in a first-round no contest.
“This rematch is a year in the making and now it’s for a title,” Northwest Fight Promotions owner George Dodd said. “We have two of the very best flyweights on the West Coast headlining a fantastic card. It should be another great contest. Their first meeting was one of the best fighters we’ve ever had here at Clinch FC.”

This five-round, 125-lb championship bout anchors a six-fight card, featuring regional standouts in multiple weight classes. The rematch scenario adds stakes not merely for the belt, but for redemption, legacy, and momentum in the U.S. West Flyweight rankings.
In addition to the title fight, the card includes a pivotal Heavyweight bout between Yakima’s Richard Foster vs. Larry Gonzales, as well as other rising talent matchups. The cage will open at Legends Casino under the banner of regional competition and rising stars.
