Northwest Fight Promotions MMA heading to Seven Feathers Casino Resort May 13

CANYONVILLE, Ore. – Northwest Fight Promotions is heading to Canyonville, Ore.

The mixed martial arts promotion will hold its first show ever in the Beaver State on Saturday, May 13 when it invades the Seven Feathers Casino Resort.

Brought to you by Northwest Fight Promotions will feature seven professional MMA bouts, two amateur contests and tag team grapping match. Doors will open at 6 p.m. with fights beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in person at the Seven Feathers Casino Resort Gift Gallery, through Etix by calling 1-800-514-3849 or online at sevenfeathers.com.

Headlining the card will be a main event between middleweights Ryan Loder and undefeated Eli Aronov.

“Seven Feathers Casino Resort is one of the premiere entertainment venues in the Northwest and we are so excited to be holding our show over there,” said George Dodd. “We have been there three times before with CageSport shows and it’s always been an incredible experience. When Northwest Fight Promotions was created one of the top priorities was returning to Canyonville.”

Fighting out of Arad, Israel, Aronov brings a perfect 6-0 record into his showdown with Loder. Known by his ring moniker “The Israeli Tank,” Aronov is coming off a victory over Mariusz Ksiazkiewicz, who entered the match with an impressive 10-1 mark, by second-round arm-triangle choke at Unified MMA 45 in Alberta, Canada on May 27, 2002.

Aronov’s resume also features a win over Sari Hlehihil at Bellator 234 in 2019.

Loder will look to improve his career record to 5-1 when he steps inside the cage to face the unbeaten Aronov. Loder opened his pro MMA career with four consecutive triumphs, highlighted by a win over Sean Sullivan at Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat 4 on July 31, 2022.

Prior to embarking on his MMA career, Loder had an extensive background in wrestling, competing collegiately at Northern Iowa University where he is top 10 in three UNI records, including ninth in overall victories, sixth in career winning percentage and fifth in career dual wins and a multiple-time NCAA Championships participant.

Additional pro bouts include Jose Hernandez facing Brennon Crow, Hamza Salim meeting Adland Benson, Juan Figueroa squaring off against Rudy Schaffroth, Ryan Ishmael fighting Sam Crawford, Jay White facing Michael Frear and female contest between Caysea McBride and Caitlin Williams.
